Storms

Storms were all around us last night. There were reports we should expect hail the size of ping pong balls or larger. The light play along with the storm clouds was truly an awesome sight. A portion of the sky was clear under the storm clouds. As the sun set, the sky under the clouds turned a deep reddish orange, with the clouds staying a dark blue gray! I tried to get a picture of it but my little camera didn't handle it too well. I am absolutely certain it was NOT "Operator error"! We did not get any of the bad weather and are very thankful for that, although in our part of the world - you must never, ever, ever, EVER complain about rain. There are too many times when the land is desperate for it!

This morning, everything appeared washed, fresh and absolutely lush after the moisture last night. It is wonderful when the pastures, yards, crops, etc. are green from rain rather than having to water constantly! It has been a while. I love thunderstorms!
