Paris

I started a post but decided to delete it - seemed a bit too much like bragging. I really want this to be more of a reflection of what I see in the world around me. I see things a lot differently than my spouse, but I think that is a good thing! How boring everything would be if we all saw and felt things the same way! I have watched the news media blitz about Paris Hilton going to jail. I do not understand this obsession with her. Is it "Poor Little Rich Girl" syndrome? The girl messed up and should be required to serve her time just like anyone else. Now the police have sent her home under house arrest. I don't know about you but for me - her home is not exactly a prison! She has maids, butlers, cooks, etc. to take care of her every need. Ain't too bad from this viewpoint! I think the family of the young girl in Kansas deserves our attention and prayers right now, a lot more than Paris! They have true tragedy in their lives that they have to deal with today. All of these celebrities need to come into the real world (No Offense - incognito!). Getting let out of jail -even if she is unable to leave her home for a couple of weeks - is not a tragedy! It's a joke with our justice system as the butt of the joke!
