Kitchen Remodel

I posted (a while back - OK a long while back) about the remodeling of our kitchen. I still do not have decorative items placed nor do I have curtains but felt like I need to go ahead and show what we did. I will have the before pictures at the end of this post.

My spouse had his 50 th birthday on Monday of this week. Our family, a few friends, and his family came to the house for a surprise party on Sunday evening. I found out later he actually already knew about the possibility of a party but never let on. Our daughter, son-in-law and my spouse's mother came early to decorate while we were at church. It was really fun. No one was really ugly and my spouse seemed to enjoy. I hope he did. This party was just another reminder of what we haven't finished on the kitchen, though. As I looked around, I realized how bare everything looks. Hopefully we can get some things decided and finished.
