I am completely at a loss as to what to write about tonight even though I have not had a chance to post anything for several days. We had our football game scheduled for Friday night, which I normally work. However, due to the tremendous amount of rain, the game was rescheduled to Saturday afternoon. Everyone's plans got to change to handle the scheduling. No sense complaining - besides the moisture was certainly needed.
Our pup is surviving the cast and is actually moving very fast with it. Hopefully everything is healing properly. He cannot get up and down stairs in our house but that's about the only thing he can't do! He runs and plays and really doesn't seem to be hurting at all.
It's Sunday night and I have not gotten much accomplished this weekend. We did manage to get our kitchen cabinets cleaned out for the remodeling project, only to have the contractor call and say they would not be here until the middle of this next week! Of course, everything I would normally use is at the very back of the room where everything was stored! I have to keep telling myself - it will all be worth it when the kitchen is finished.
Back to my original statement - I cannot seem to come up with anything other than rambling! I need a vacation.

I am so ready for our vacation...we are going on a cruise for hubbys 40th birthday.

Motherpie - most definitely needed is patience. I don't think he's felt too badly since getting the cast on. Goes back for a quick check tomorrow!
That's why your sweet baby grandaughter is coming to stay with you this weekend...your much-needed vacation! She will make you laugh and I promise nothing will seem quite as important or stressful with her around. :)
