And So It Begins!

They started on the kitchen today!!! This is why professionals are a good way to go, if possible. I got to the house to let them in about 3 this afternoon. They got all countertops pulled out, tile backsplash removed, sink and cooktop taken out - new countertop installed and new sink installed before my spouse arrived home around 5:30. That is fast! I will have before and after pictures, once everything is done. It has already changed the look of the kitchen - awesome!

Duke had a check up to be sure bones are staying in place and healing properly. Everything appears to be okay. He has to be taken back to the vet next week - possible removal of cast but could stay one for another 2 weeks. Guess we'll see!

I have Site Meter set on my blog. 1,500 visitors since I started in May! That is amazing to me - many of those visits are my faithful friends and family who have been reading from the beginning. However, some are actually people I've never met - yet take the time to read and respond to the different topics! That is a privilege I cherish and do not take lightly! Thank you to all who spend just a little part of your busy day with me. I certainly enjoy visiting your sites!

Congrats on the new kitchen. I know it is exciting. I appreciate your blog so much -- it has meant a lot to me to be able to read it and to have you read mine.

Glad pup is ok! Not to sound harsh, but spouse who stumbled over the dog - probably best to keep him out of the kitchen renovation and let the experts do it.

Just kidding!

Great Blog! Keep it up! I like to read.

Kathy - Words cannot begin to express how much I apprecaite your sweet spirit and your wisdom! Thank you for sharing with me.

cdo - Yep - spouse is staying out of the renovation process - except we have to agree on paint color. Thanks for the kind words as well. Give your sweet spouse and daughter (and son-in-law) a hug from us!

Wow, that was fast! You have some good people over there. Can't get good workers in these parts.

And sorry to hear about pup, but hope he heals quickly.
