My teenager finally talked me into upgrading our cell phones. We have a plan with both of us sharing the minutes. Of course, we also had to sign a new 2 year extension to get these "Great Deals" on the phones. Sure hope we're in their area for the full 2 years!
The funny thing is we are with the same company but the options on the phone are really different! It's always new and improved. We do not subscribe to text messaging - I just have a phobia about the lack of an actual voice! (HMMM - what about blogs?!) I would just as soon call, and if necessary, leave a message. I had a hard time finding out how to silence the beep as you are looking through the different options. Got that one figured out then wanted to change the ring tone. Got the Star Wars theme recorded to use as my ring tone - Cool!!!
Since I work in administration for our district, my constant warning to said teenager is "You cannot do that with your cell phone during class. It is again the rules!" The typical response is "The teachers do not care as long as I am not talking in class." If there are any teachers reading this - could you respond and let me know if that is true?
You know I just bought these 2 new phones but they will probably be replaced with the next "New and improved" version next week. Thank goodness, God's Word is never changing, nor is His faithfulness! What a privilege - God calls me His child! He will never leave or forsake us!
